"After What Is Left Of A Memory: A Tribute To James Leyland Kirby" is a collaborative compilation album featuring over 50 artists from multiple Discord servers revolving around the legendary Mr. Kirby's work. This compilation was made in commemoration of Kirby turning 50 earlier this month, and the fans felt a tribute was warranted. Moods explored within the release vary wildly, dipping into different aspects of why fans enjoy the work Kirby has produced through the decades, including operating under monikers such as "The Caretaker" and "V/Vm". While the Caretaker name is no more, the fans of his work continue his legacy, offering their own personal introspections within their own works. All proceeds of this release will be donated to the Alzheimer Association, a non-profit organization working towards offering Alzheimer's patients care, support, research in slowing the progression, and finding a cure for it.
