Despite earning a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) and serving in esteemed roles as a computer teacher and academic administrator for over 16 years, Navin's innate creative calling eventually led him to transition into full-time photography. Over the past decade, Navin Kumar has garnered widespread acclaim and accolades from prestigious institutions such as National Geographic, Sony World, HIPA, MSPF, SIENA, and more. His contributions to the art world have been celebrated not only nationally but also internationally, with recognition from organizations like Sony India, Eyeshot Magazine, Penguin Publications, and the Street Photographers Foundation. Notably, Navin is a two-time winner of the HIPA competition (9th & 11th Season), underscoring his mastery and innovation in the field. Beyond his individual achievements, Navin Kumar is deeply committed to nurturing aspiring photographers and sharing his expertise with the community. He serves as a contributing photographer for National Geographic's Your Shot platform and as a Photography Mentor for Tamron India. Through his mentorship role, Navin has conducted over 20 intensive workshops and delivered more than 50 guest lectures across various cities and educational institutions in India, enriching the photography landscape and inspiring the next generation of visual storytellers.
