Starting from archival documents, through historical analysis and, above all, the testimonies of activists, NO WAR. Stories and Documents of the Pacifist Movement, edited by Francesca Dagnino and Paola De Ferrari, retraces over sixty years of pacifist and nonviolent struggles. What emerges is a portrait of a movement, complex and diverse in its diverse identities—Christian, secular, radical, feminist, and communist—that, despite ever-changing challenges, has never lost its commitment.
