RWD Porsche 996 Turbo Race Car - Track to Road - IT WORKS!!!!
After 11 months of fixing, replacing, trial and error, not to mention a tone of time effort put in by the guys at @ecosseautomotive5739 Automotive in Bo'Ness, the 996 Turbo Race Car, fondly now known has 'Klaus' is ready to do what he does best - Drive to the track of your choice, blast round all day, then drive home. It was far from ideal conditions at @knockhill , but gave me the opportunity to see just what the car was like in challenging conditions. And it was a wild ride! I loved it!!! Little issue with a slight miss at 5k rpm, now sorted with an uprated fuel pump. Since filming, Klaus has now driven to and from Anglesey to lap at the @PorscheClubGB track day, where it performed faultless all day. A great project and would love to rescue another old track car if the opportunity came up. Enjoy the video!
