I Walked to Every Tiki Bar in Palm Springs

In this episode, I’m kicking things off at the Caliente Tropics Hotel, the historic desert resort that will be hosting my upcoming weekender event, The Breezeway Getaway, on January 23rd. From there, I head out on foot and walk a single stretch of road that just happens to be home to three standout tiki bars in Palm Springs The Bootlegger, The Tonga Hut, and The Reef. At each stop, I go behind the bar with the bartenders as they reveal a cocktail crafted specifically for The Breezeway Getaway, sharing the inspiration, ingredients, and a little of the personality behind each drink. In between stops, I take time to point out the architectural details, signage, and design touches that make Palm Springs feel like a living mid century postcard.
