All-New 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC review // Can you spot the difference?
This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC compact luxury SUV. The GLC has a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 48-volt mild hybrid system, it gets a combined 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Standard AWD in Canada, but there is a RWD model available in the US. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers such a comfortable drive, the suspension is quite refined, it provides better ride quality, agile handling, improved noise comfort with very low road and wind noise compared to the outgoing model. Mercedes-Benz says the GLC has also improved off-road with several new features and systems including an off-road driving mode and downhill speed regulation. The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC remains the same width as the outgoing model, but is over 2 inches longer and lower with improved aerodynamics. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with LED high performance headlamps and LED taillamps, 19” wheels, available 20” and a temporary spare tire. In the US, 18” wheels are standard. Choose different exterior packages to make it look sportier like the AMG Line with Night package which we have on our test model, it features AMG body-styling, a chrome star patterned grille, black exterior accents and AMG wheels. Standard features include, a 11.9” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 12.3” digital driver display, wireless charger, over-the-air software updates, heated, power front seats with memory, heated steering wheel and a power tailgate. Fuel economy, the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets 10.4L/100 km, 23 MPG city and 9.1L/100 km, 31 MPG highway. It can tow almost 3300 pounds. In Canada, there is just one trim, the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 starts at $58,900 CAD. In the US, there are a few more trims, the RWD 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC model starts at $47,100 USD and the AWD model $49,100 USD, Exclusive $51,350 USD and Pinnacle $53,550 USD.
