A day after setting an Athletes Unlimited Softball League single-game record with five home runs, the Texas Volts (3-7) hit two more round-trippers on Wednesday night, scoring five of their six runs via the long ball to sweep the quick two-game series against the Chicago Bandits (4-7) with a 6-4 victory at Dell Diamond. Leading 3-2 entering the bottom of the fourth inning, catcher Dejah Mulipola led off with a single and outfielder Jalia Lassiter followed with her first AUSL home run to extend the Volts’ advantage to 5-2.
