How to Change Cadillac CTS Engine Air Filter for better engine performance

Step by step instruction to replace your CTS (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) engine filter. A new air filter can improve engine performance, including a small increase in horsepower and avoid more costly repairs in the long run. It ensures fresh clean air is used for combustion. Filter used: AC Delco A3096C (Made in USA). GM part number: 1587 5795 Other brands (Fram CA10626) Always check fitment for your exact car and model before purchasing. All you need is a Torx T25 screwdriver. It's an easy DIY job. The car shown is a 2011 Cadillac CTS (V6 3.0L) however these instructions can be used for other model years too, as the car's design was relatively unchanged for many years, such 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. It's a simple and cheap fix, improves engine efficiency and has long-term benefits, which is why I change mine frequently.
