That said, the silhouettes of these two pairs change quite a bit depending on the decade. That's why I chose both pairs from what's known as the early '66! It's a showdown between eras where both are renowned for their silhouettes! So, which one do you prefer? By the way, In our day, the '66' in 501 meant "early" and "late." And we were taught that it was called "66" because there was a "6" written on the back of the top button, right? Huh? Is it just me?
