Wood Turning Lathe HOLZMANN MASCHINEN D460FXL | Unboxing and first time using it

Today we are packing up my old BOSTON MC1018 lathe and unboxing my new HOLZMANN MASCHINEN D460FXL Wood Turning Lathe. This was a much needed upgrade and so far I am very satisfied with this machine. It is a great size, the adjustable speed is very handy and it is also surprisingly quite! In this video I am making a simple mulberry tree bowl. Sanding paper goes up to 2000 and as for the top coat I am using liquid paraffin oil and beeswax (suitable for food consumption).
