陸自車両が市中パレード　機動戦闘車など28両が行進、勇姿間近に　兵庫・加西

A parade of Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) vehicles took place on public roads in the center of Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture, on the 30th. Large crowds of citizens and military enthusiasts lined the streets to watch the impressive procession of vehicles. This was the first time a full-scale city parade by the Self-Defense Forces had been held in Hyogo Prefecture. The parade was organized by the Kasai City Defense Association and other groups to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the JGSDF Aonohara Garrison (located in Ono and Kato cities, Hyogo Prefecture), which is adjacent to Kasai City. The organizing committee seized the opportunity presented by the gathering of vehicles and equipment from the Central Army at a commemorative event to be held at the garrison on the 31st, and lobbied the authorities to make it happen. The parade took place along a 300-meter section of prefectural road in front of the city hall. Accompanied by music from the Central Army Band, a total of 28 vehicles, including Type 03 medium-range surface-to-air missile launchers and Type 16 mobile combat vehicles, marched proudly along the road. People along the route gazed intently at the sight of the Ground Self-Defense Force vehicles driving on the public road, and took pictures of the impressive sight with their cameras and smartphones.
