Alcolumbre critica parlamentares que querem CPMI do Master: “Palanque eleitoral”

The president of the Federal Senate, Davi Alcolumbre, stated that a potential Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) to investigate Banco Master would serve as "electoral platform." According to Alcolumbre, various bodies are already conducting investigations into the case, including the Federal Police, the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, the Brazilian Judiciary, the Central Bank of Brazil, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The senator argued that he sees no need for a new parliamentary commission while investigations are ongoing by the competent bodies.
