We stayed in room #461 which is named The Wow Room I'm assuming because of it's unique placement on top of the hotel along with the nearly 360 degree views from it's huge terrace. During our stay we ate and drank our way around the island but special note goes out to the many restaurants and bars on Hidalgo St. If you have time when you are on the island we highly recommend the mango tamarind margarita and the el pastor tacos at Xantolo https://www.tasteofisla.com/xantolo @xantoloisla. On the main street just across from the Privileges Aluxes hotel we also recommend the margaritas and the coconut shrimp at Jax https://www.tasteofisla.com/locations... @jax.islamujeres. For Breakfast, special mention goes the Mango Cafe and their coconut french toast. https://www.tasteofisla.com/mangocafe @mangocafe. Three Guys made some amazing smash burgers from their street cart https://www.tasteofisla.com/locations... and Sonny's Pizza was also a great stop for some tasty casual dining. https://www.tasteofisla.com/sonnyspizza Along with having a blast at or near our hotel we also got out for a snorkel excursion booked through the hotel with Isla Fun Tours. https://islafuntours.com/ @islafuntours. We also rented a golf cart for tooting around the island, again booked through our hotel but provided by El Sol Golf Carts. https://soltoursislamujeres.com/prefe...
