The Banshee Appears - Darby O'Gill and the Little People (1959)

Katie chases Cleopatra up Knocknasheega as a foreboding keening is heard, and Darby and Michael make haste to find her as a storm rolls in. After Darby finds her unconscious, the O'Gill banshee appears to herald Katie's impending death, before Darby attempts to drive her away with his lantern and bring Katie back to the gatehouse.
