A better way to capture one single float
Ladderback Jacquard (LBJ) is a far better way to capture a single float than the more traditional method. It completely avoids the peak-through that the locking method permits. I have previously published a much longer video describing the use of LBJ on the back of larger blocks of color, but we don't usually think of using it for individual, isolated floats. But it totally works, even though it doesn't produce any "ladders" on the back. In this video I show how to work it and how it looks in the fabric. My first, more complete video, on Ladderback Jacquard can be found here: • Ladderback Jacquard -- Everything you need... Ironically, I called it "Ladderback Jacquard -- Everything you need to know and more" and yet here is one more thing you probably want to know as well.
