龍畝タイプ「孝竹」による本調

普通の琴古流尺八（孝竹）を龍畝タイプに改造しました。改造箇所は歌口、調律（第３孔移動）、指孔拡大などです。もともと素性の良かった竹なので龍畝タイプにすることでさらに古典本曲が演奏しやすくなりました。「地塗り尺八」ですが軽量で地が非常に薄いと思われます。そのため「地無し尺八」に近い音色がします。 A regular Kinkoryu shakuhachi (Kochiku) has been modified to the "Ryuho" type. Modifications include the mouthpiece, tuning (moving the third hole), and enlarging the finger holes. As the bamboo was originally of good quality, converting it to the "Ryuho" type makes it even easier to play classical honkyoku pieces.Although it is a "Jinuri shakuhachi", it is lightweight and the "ji" inside is thought to be very thin. As a result, the tone is similar to that of a "Jiless shakuhachi".
