My Bible Study Plan for 2026 | Tools, Journals, and a Simpler Approach

If you’re a woman or mom wondering how to study the Bible consistently without feeling overwhelmed, this video is for you. As I step into 2026, I’ve been really intentional about how I want to approach Bible study this year. If you’re someone who loves Jesus but has struggled to stay consistent in Scripture, you’re not alone - and this video is for you. Over the years, I’ve tried so many different methods. Plans that were too rigid, resources that were beautiful but overwhelming, and rhythms that just didn’t work in my current season of motherhood. This year feels different, and I wanted to share what I’m doing instead. In this video, I’m sharing my Bible study plan for 2026, including: • The Bible I’ll be using this year and why I chose it • Bible study tools that have helped me better understand and apply Scripture • Resources I’ve used in the past - and why some of them didn’t work for me • How I’m shifting my focus toward context, history, and theology • Why I’m feeling led to explore my roots in Catholicism and church history • The Bible study journal I personally use to slow down, reflect, and stay consistent I’m also sharing details about a special giveaway I’ll be doing and how you can be part of it by following me on Instagram @rooted.and.thriving.mama. My prayer is that this encourages you if Bible study has ever felt overwhelming or discouraging. You don’t need more pressure or perfection - you need a rhythm that gently points you back to Jesus. ✨ Resources shared in this video: • Amazon Bible Study Tools: https://www.amazon.com/shop/teach.lov... • Treasured ESV Journaling Bible (Daily Grace Co.) • Theology Handbook • Rooted in the Word Bible Study Journal: https://www.rootedandthrivingmama.com...
