L'INCONTOURNABLE SALON DE L'AGRICULTURE

This year, the Paris International Agricultural Show celebrated its 50th anniversary. A major event for the agricultural world! Its competitions provide an invaluable showcase for livestock. Our team followed the animals' preparation, from the farm to the day of the competition. But not all participants are seasoned farmers; some are still in training. This is the case for students from agricultural high schools who send their best students, like Firmin and Morgane, to participate in the high school trophy. A true human adventure for these 16-year-olds who travel to Paris to represent their school. Once the show's doors close and the public departs, each evening all the exhibitors gather around a table or stand to enjoy a casual feast with the best wines and products that each brings from their region. The "Off Secrets and Behind the Scenes" team spent 10 days with them, 24/7, in the heart of this giant farmyard. The show also involves 230 tons of straw, 215 tons of wood shavings, and 280 tons of manure… Hundreds of people are working tirelessly to prepare for and welcome the 700,000 expected visitors and 5,000 animals.
