Within this cirque, a waterfall plunges 1385 feet to the valley floor making it France's highest and the third highest in Europe. We took the long way around and hiked through beautiful alpine meadows and forests ringed by glacial cirques, had some great coffee and saw many, many waterfalls, including France's highest, Gavarnie Falls!
