🌿 Exploring the Hidden Beauty of Udayapur, Nepal | Rauta Temple, Rauta Pokhari & Namanta Homestay 🇳🇵 What started as an official workshop turned into one of my most memorable travel experiences in Nepal. During this trip, I travelled from Sindhuli to Gaighat, Udayapur, took a short break, and then headed towards Namanta Homestay, nestled in the peaceful hills of Udayapur. Although the journey involved rough off-road driving, every bump was worth it. The warm hospitality of the Magar community, delicious local food prepared with traditional spices, and a cozy campfire made us feel completely at home despite the chilly weather. On the third day, we hiked to the Rauta View Point. The trail wasn't easy—leeches greeted almost everyone on the way, making the climb both challenging and unforgettable! But the breathtaking panoramic views from the top made every step worthwhile. Our journey continued downhill to the famous Rauta Temple, where I expected to see just another temple. Instead, I was amazed to find the temple beautifully situated beside the serene Rauta Pokhari, surrounded by lush green forests. The peaceful atmosphere reminded me of Tal Barahi Temple in Pokhara, yet Rauta Temple has its own unique charm and untouched beauty. This trip reminded me that the most beautiful destinations often come after the toughest climbs.
