Rugby referees are absolutely built different. In this video, I reacted to Rugby Referees Take No Nonsense — and wow, it was a total culture shock for me. In American sports, referees tend to stay in the background, separate players, and you almost never hear what they’re saying. Rugby? Completely different. From being mic’d up the entire game, to constantly grabbing captains and speaking directly to them while making calls, the refs in rugby command authority in a way I’ve never seen before.
