The Global Child Forum on Southeast Asia that was held recently on 5 th May, 2016 in Malaysia had brought together influential international decision makers from business, government, civil society and academia for a day of inspiration and action on children’s rights within the region. Initiated in 2009 under the active participation and patronage of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden, the forum aimed to address some of the most pressing challenges faced by today’s children.
