How to Travis Pick a Baritone Ukulele, presented by Dennis Anthonis.

In this video I hope to inspire ukulele (and guitar) players who rely mostly on strumming to give this video tutorial a chance to open up another whole outlet to your repertoire. It's only a simple, one bar (measure) to memorize, and you can do that tonight. Then tomorrow, you pick up your instrument and reacquaint yourself with the pattern and then continue playing it over and over again. Eventually, it will become engrained and muscle memory will allow you to focus on speed and accuracy. As you expand your chord vocabulary, your ability to change chords more quickly and smoothly becomes automatic. It is then that you will find the true joy of Travis picking any song you want... as long as the songs are in 4/4 time that is. You will also need at least four strings (can't do it on three).
