Manenberg notorious for its gang wars

While it seems gun-related crimes to have subsided, Manenberg is notorious for its gang wars. Responding to crime in the community, residents highlight living in fear when gang violence escalates. Following a bloody weekend in May, additional boots on the ground were deployed to the community to quell the violence. Newzroom Afrika reporter Nasiphi Same is in Manenberg and has more details.
