Tribute to Orfordness Lighthouse

This film celebrates the life of Orfordness Lighthouse which was decommissioned June 2013. The film was made as part of HLF Landscape Partnership Scheme, Touching the Tide. It was first shown in Orford on 11th September 2015 at The Lighthouse Exhibition. I started filming in 2010 at the time the building's precarious position and its navigational role were being questioned. Over the ensuing years I ensured I recorded all the lenses and lamps in situ. They have since been removed following decommissioning to protect against contamination should the lighthouse succumb to the sea.
