Moody Walk along a Peaceful Lakeside Trail | Morning Trip to Magliaso, Switzerland

Today we'll be going on an early spring morning walk to Magliaso, a lakeside town in southern Switzerland! It's located on the shore of Lake Lugano, along the western section of the lake. This is a pretty busy area, with several towns in close proximity to each other, lots of traffic, a nearby industrial area and even an airport. That being said the lakefront of Magliaso seems to be far away from all of that, and is a small oasis of peace where you can go for a relaxing walk, enjoy the view and unwind for a while! The lakeside of this town still mostly preserves the wild nature of the shoreline, which is very important for the local fauna, be it one of the various species of water birds (like ducks, swans, coots, cormorants and seagulls) or small fishes hiding between the reeds. It's also a place that you can enjoy though! A short gravel trail closely follows the lake for the entire length of the town, where you can find several benches, the local port, a playground and of course the beautiful views of this far off section of Lake Lugano! Well, usually there would be a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape, but not today. It's a rainy and foggy morning at the very beginning of spring, and you can barely make out the nearby mountains through the fog. Still, it's a really enchanting view nonetheless, isn't it? :) Even though it's a cold (and wet) kind of day, this short walk has a lot of coziness to it! What are we waiting for? Let's check it out!
