Les larmes de Sali-Une histoire bouleversante sur la résilience et la jalousie

SYNOPSIS Sali is a sweet and hardworking young village girl who lives peacefully with her grandmother. Her life is turned upside down the day her older sister, Awa, who lives in Bamako with her husband, Berthe, asks the old woman to take care of Sali during her pregnancy. Convinced that she will find a better life in the capital and contribute to her sister's happiness, Sali leaves her village full of hope. But behind the promises of a new life lies a cruel reality. Once in Bamako, Awa reveals an unexpected side of herself. For no apparent reason, she transforms her younger sister's daily life into a living hell. Humiliation, insults, endless chores, and mistreatment become Sali's daily lot. Despite the attempts of her husband, Berthe, and her brother-in-law, Salif, to calm the situation, Awa sinks deeper into a jealousy and hatred whose origin no one understands. Isolated, far from her grandmother and deprived of all affection, Sali struggles to preserve her dignity. Yet each ordeal strengthens her resolve not to be broken. Between suffering, family betrayal, and the quest for freedom, the young woman must choose between enduring in silence or taking control of her destiny to claim the right to live her own life. "Sali's Tears" is a moving story about resilience, family jealousy, and the inner strength of a young woman who refuses to let others decide her future.
