Carlos Seixas Toccata in D Minor 2'28 A native Bostonian, Pamela Cook studied piano there with Heinrich Gebhard, giving numerous recitals in the area, including solo appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. At Bennington College she continued her keyboard studies with Claude Frank and Lionel Nowak. After graduating from college, Miss Cook went to New York to study harpsichord with Sylvia Marlowe, as recipient for five consecutive years of the Harpsichord Music Society Scholarship. Pamela Cook's concert engagements in the New York area have included recitals at Philharmonic Hall, Town Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Carnegie Recital Hall, and the United Nations. Recently, she traveled to Paris to record three Bach programs for Radio Diffusion Française.
