View NEW Beginner How-To Video here: • Deepwater Start Slalom Ski Water Skiing Tips for skiers who have already made several starts: Here are some tips for making your deep water starts more consistent. Make sure the tip of the ski is angled slightly away from the rope and the tail of the ski is set oppositely (under the rope). NOTE: There is also a special rope handle that allows the ski to sit deadcenter in the bridle "Vee". Google for that product, it works very well for beginners, and is used daily at places like Club Med. There are other one-ski deep water basics that are not covered here.
