I got this in a mail call from Paul at Diecast Graveyard. This will be my submission for the April ’26 Four Horsemen invitational on the theme of movie monsters. Frankenstein or, The Modern Prometheus, is an 1818 Gothic novel written by English author Mary Shelley, which tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a creature from different body parts in an unorthodox scientific experiment. In the 1931 film, Boris Karloff immortalized one of Hollywood’s most tragic monsters, rejected by his maker, feared by everyone, and doomed to be misunderstood because of his horrific appearance.
