Japan's Earliest Autumn Foliage Spot! Part 4: “Asahidake Ropeway” and “Tokachidake Hot Springs Village”. Here's a quick update from our morning shoot on October 6th and 7th. The foliage at Asahidake Ropeway has completely finished. Around Tokachidake, it has passed its peak. The autumn colors are gradually descending to the foothills. The Tokachidake Skyline area, traversing the mid-slopes of the Daisetsuzan Range, is now at its best viewing time.
