Irene and Francis dance "Manteca"-Luigi choreography
Luigi (Eugene Louis Faccuito, 1925-2015) created the first codified jazz dance technique and was the teacher of innumerable stars and performers on Broadway stages and in Hollywood movies. Luigi's choreography until now has been available for study only in classes in a few locations. The dance combination videos on this site were recorded in Luigi's classes and feature Luigi himself or other students, or have been re-recorded by dancers who studied with Luigi. They are offered free of charge for student education in the hope of keeping Luigi's genius alive.
