After several years working as a psychologist in a nursing home, Ariane reflects on the writing workshop she co-created, which allowed for a different perspective on elderly dependent individuals than simply demented and obsolete. For five years, a synergy emerged within a nursing home where all members of the staff were able to place elderly individuals considered dependent back at the center of their lives, once again capable of anything! After training in psychiatry and pediatric medicine, Ariane worked for several years in a geriatric unit in Paris. Today, she practices as a psychologist and psychotherapist in private practice in Nantes, offering her skills to individuals experiencing suffering throughout their lives.
