「だらしない人間でも…」映画監督・三宅唱さんが語るミニシアターの存在意義【「ナゴヤキネマ・ノイ」開館1年】

Nagoya Kinema Neu, a mini-theater in Chikusa Ward, Nagoya, celebrated its first anniversary on March 16th. It was reopened on the site of the former Nagoya Cinematheque, which closed in July of last year, using crowdfunding by former staff of the former theater. The short closure and opening of a mini-theater in the same location has unintentionally become an opportunity to question the significance of movie theaters rooted in the local community. Film director Sho Miyake had a connection with the Nagoya Cinematheque when he was starting out, and he was interested in the birth of Neu.
