Yars' Revenge & Cosmic Swarm: Atari Archive Episode 69
May 1982 saw the release of two space insect-themed games: Atari's classic Yars' Revenge, written by Howard Scott Warshaw, and CommaVid's first mass-market release, Cosmic Swarm. One of these seems to have reviewed very well at the time, and it's likely not the one you'd expect! Nevertheless, they both have proven to be excellent debuts for Warshaw, who went on to write some very ambitious VCS games, and CommaVid as a whole, which quickly garnered a reputation for interesting and generally appealing software.
