Full Arrival De-coupling and re fueling of The Indian Pacific

‪@odgeetv8515‬ Hi Everyone today I filmed the Arrival, de-coupling and refueling of The Iconic Indian Pacific Passenger Train at Keswick Station. The Indian Pacific uses power from 2 power carriages with generators that need diesel to generate Electricity for usage and is re fueled separately from the locomotives. Hope you enjoy, Cheers ODGEE OUT. The Indian Pacific travels a total distance of 4,352kms from Sydney then Adelaide then Perth. The Journey takes approx 65hrs in general. It commenced operations in 1970, it is operated by Journey Beyond Rail, there are 3 kitchens onboard, with a team of chefs preparing about 500 meals per day. The average length of the train is 878 m it includes 2 Locomotives and 35 carriages. The average weight of the train is 1710 tons, with an average speed of 85kms per hour but maximum speed is 115km/h.
