It’s a series of performance videos of songs I like to sing, mostly classics from the 1960s to 80s, and a few originals. I used to crank them out twice a week, but I’ve slowed down lately. This is the 87th song I’ve posted on my channel, so see my playlists to check out the back catalog. They’re arranged mainly by different styles of music. (ALL the songs appear, in reverse order of posting date, on ‘Lars’ Back Porch songs’.) I’ve seen many fine singers perform in concert, but Stevie Wonder’s vocal performance remains on the top of my list of favorites. I was moved by his soulful expressions, and the quality of his voice was a big factor. In my imagination, he hears The Beatle’s (John Lennon’s) All You Need Is Love, and says ‘Love that, I can do that, too!’ and writes this song. Who knows?
