Makita track saw unboxing and the ultimate storage upgrade

In this weeks episode we get to unbox our new Makita track saw. I've had a circular saw guide for a year or so now and it served its purpose in the beginning however it is unreliable and I needed something more accurate. I chose the Makita track saw over some of the others (festool was out of my price range). I used my Shapeoko Cnc to carve out some hooks and an end cap for the tracks to be mounted to the wall. Makita doesn't offer any storage for the clamps for connecting hardware, so I used some Kaizen foam to recreate the holder in the bottom of the sustainer. In my version there is room for extra blades, both clamps, and the connecting hardware (hint hint Makita). All in all I'm super happy with how this project went and even more happy with with saw itself. If you're on the fence about getting one of these I would say to take the plunge. Also, a huge THANK YOU to the group of people that chipped in to make this tool purchase possible.
