Trapped by her husband, she and her son have become victims of abuse. She was unable to escape her husband, Vedat, and every attempt failed. Nefes struggled to explain each of Vedat's beatings to her son, trying to convince him it was just a game. Nefes's brother, her only relative, died while rescuing her. A businessman from the Black Sea region, Mustafa, travels to Istanbul to make new deals with Vedat and brings his family with him. Mustafa and his family stay at Vedat's house, and Mustafa's younger brother, Tahir, notices that Nefes is suffering from domestic violence. Unfortunately, Tahir is powerless to help Nefes. However, Nefes makes plans again that night to escape the house and hides in Tahir's van with her son. Her plan is to leave the van after leaving the house and start a new life with her son. But things don't go as planned; Nefes and her son fall asleep in the back of the van. They end up in Trabzon, on the Black Sea. Tahir discovers these two fugitives in Trabzon and has no idea that he is about to enter a major battle to save them.
