This is episode #5 of Siccas Spotlight, dedicated to the two legendary pioneer luthiers, Matthias Dammann and Gernot Wagner. As the pioneers of Double Top guitars from the very beginning, this long-overdue documentary focuses on two of their guitars built in 1992—at the brink of their evolution toward Double Top construction. At that time, both were still experimenting with solid-top instruments, shaping what would later become a revolutionary development in guitar making.
