Ibanez AAM54-OPN sound demo

Hello, I bought this Ibanez acoustic a few weeks ago and I've been playing it alot. I wanted to buy a small/medium sized acoustic that would be quite reasonable in price. After trying almost all of the acoustic guitars in my nearby shops here in Helsinki that are under 600-800 euros, I was very happy to find this particular guitar. At 279€, I can almost say it was cheap, and not meaning it in a bad way. Of course at this price range you're not going to get everything the more expensive models have to offer. The frets were not really polished, you can hear some rattling in the high e-string and it needed some neck adjustment plus a fresh set of strings. But in the end, it is really quite something. The sound is big and blooming, there's dynamics in the tone and it responds to fingerstyle very well. It's not my dream acoustic guitar, the great Adamas GT1687, but again, I'll manage with this for a while. Maybe this is the second-last acoustic I'll ever own? I recorded this with a Tascam Portacapture8, my main and only recording device I used for my album Prologue. I love it, simple to use, great sounding and portable. I used the onboard stereo pair and did some very light post-processing in Logic, adding the reverb and a low-cut around 80hz, finishing with a 2-3db cut around the middle frequencies. The tune I'm playing is one of a few new songs I'm soon going to record. Not yet finished, but there's something very beautiful about the chords.
