I moved to Japan.. Was it a mistake?

I moved to Japan to become a better drift driver… but the first 6 months didn’t go how I planned. I shipped my S13 from New Zealand, had a job and a place lined up—and then lost both just weeks before moving. I came anyway, figuring I’d sort it out when I landed. That decision cost me. I moved three times, lost around $7–10k NZD, and spent months not even driving properly while my car sat up north. At one point I had to seriously ask myselfwas moving to Japan a mistake? But I didn’t come here to play it safe. I didn’t move countries to end up doing something unrelated to drifting. I came here to build a life around it. Now I’m based in Kansai, surrounded by a completely different level of driving, working within the scene, and getting involved with Formula Drift. It finally feels like things are starting to line up. This is the reality of moving to Japan, just figuring it out. LILJAKKI MERCH LINK DROPPED HERE! https://thrillsupply.com/collections/...
