Appalachian Trail Mile 65.8 - 69.3 | Deep Gap Shelter to DICKS CREEK GAP | 2026 GA Section Hike

From the Deep Gap Shelter, its a short climb back to the AT, then a short climb up Powell mountain with a great view. (Last chance for cell signal to call your shuttle/hostel!). Then its a nice cruisy downhill into Dicks Creek Gap, where i ended this trip due to knee pain and severe storms in the forecast. Next year we WILL finish GA! Met Pastor Steve who was taking a group out on the AT and gifted my an "Ezekiel Stick".
