Hey friends, in this video I show you how to make some scrumptious, old-fashioned Slow Cooker Spiced Peach Butter! If you're a fan of peaches and you've never had peach butter before, I just know you will love this recipe! 💘This delicious fruit butter is a wonderful way to feature fresh peaches at your table or on your charcuterie boards during the summer months. However, if you like this recipe as much as my family does, thanks to the year round availability of frozen fruit you can have peach butter any time you'd like. In my recipe, I always use a measure of cinnamon (because, cinnamon!!😊) and I prefer to buy frozen, sliced peaches that have already been pitted and peeled. I'd rather wait for frozen peaches to thaw out than peel 3 pounds of fresh peaches, but that's just me. If you don't mind peeling and pitting peaches, you can just sub in 3 pounds of fresh sliced peaches in this recipe, of course. ⭐ Important Note: If you're opting to use fresh fruit for this recipe, make sure to weigh out three pounds of peeled peach slices. Three pounds of whole peaches will not equal three pounds of prepared peaches once the pits and skin are removed. Also, if for any reason you prefer to skip the cinnamon, you can do that too and you'll have a batch of traditional, simple peach butter instead.
