【岩殿山 登山｜山梨・大月】2025年12月復活！強瀬登山道から山頂＆稚児落としピストン

I climbed Mt. Iwadono in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The Tsuyoshi Trail, which had been closed for a long time due to falling rocks, reopened as a detour route on December 25, 2025, after a six-year hiatus, so I decided to take a hike. From the summit of Mt. Iwadono, I was able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Otsuki cityscape, including Mt. Fuji, and the clear winter scenery. This time, I also extended my trip to Wakigo-otoshi, a spot that may make you feel a little intimidated just by hearing its name. The thrilling scenery of the sheer cliffs is impressive and well worth seeing. This was my second time hiking this route, and I once again realized that it is a highly satisfying hiking course, no matter how many times I hike it. Mt. Iwadono is accessible on foot from Otsuki Station on the JR Chuo Main Line, so you can do a round trip to Wakigo-otoshi or circle back to the station.
