What is its purpose? Alban Bourdy was diagnosed as gifted (HPI) at the age of 5 with an IQ of 140 (the average for an adult is 100). He is also highly sensitive (HPE). However, what could be considered strengths were actually weaknesses for much of his life, as Alban didn't know how to position himself in relation to others or in his life. Little by little, Alban learned to respect his uniqueness and listen to his needs. His self-confidence grew, and he was finally able to find balance and joy in life. In this testimony, he recounts his journey, how he gradually came to terms with his difference, and offers advice for living happily with high intellectual and/or emotional potential.
