Clock Generation (RISC-V Part 10)
It's time to start removing our dependency on the Arduino test module. The first step is to generate a clock for the CPU. We'll use a relaxation oscillator composed of an RC circuit and an inverting Scmitt Trigger for the clock, and then we'll use a counter to generate a range of slower frequencies. 0:00 Capacitor charge and discharge circuit 3:41 Schmitt trigger 5:21 Relaxation oscillator 6:20 Prescaler 7:28 Frequency calculation 9:40 Final test
