Operation: SAVE ROSALIND! - Ys X: Proud Nordics - Let's Play Part 3 - Chapter 1

Despite Karja's reluctance, Adol and Karja head to the nearby Militia HQ to see if they can help out. After all, Adol did make a promise to Grenn that he'd return today. However, upon arriving at the Militia HQ, we discover that several townsfolk are in danger along the Haagen Highway! Most notably, the adorable waitress Rosalind, whom I swore to protect (she's adorable, ok?)! It appears as though several undying wolves, known as "Griegr", are responsible for the attack! Now, seeing that only Adol and Karja can ACTUALLY defeat these beasts, we head out after the Militia to offer our aid! Unsurprisingly, the militia is no match for Grieger, who keeps healing their wounds and coming back. So, much to the regret of Militia leader Commander Gulliver, he leaves rescuing the civilians to Adol and Karja. So, let operation: SAVE ROSALIND begin! After rescuing every civilian along the Haagen Highway, we arrive at Carnac's lighthouse, where we find the lighthouse keeper being attacked by a GIANT monster! Naturally, Karja and Adol overwhelm the beast with their duo attacks and save them. But, after talking with the lighthouse keeper, we learn that the situation is worse than we originally thought. Both Rosalind AND his daughter Sache, are stuck in the caves beneath the lighthouse, which has been infiltrated and swarmed by Grieger! We need to hurry! Get ready, ladies and gentlemen, for our first official dungeon of Ys X, as well as our first proper boss! This will be our toughest challenge yet... Let's hope I can get a handle on the controls before it's late...
