Words" is a 1981 song by F. R. David. The song was originally released only in France and Monaco in the winter of 1981; later it was released in the rest of Europe. In 1983, it finally was released in America and the UK. It was a huge European hit, peaking at number one in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Austria and Norway. In spring of 1983, it peaked at number two on the British charts. The German guitarist Ricky King made a guitar cover ,mine is based on his version . Hope you like my take on it, played on my Harley Benton ST-59 Guitar. fitted with Tonerider Pure Vintage pickups. A live recording , no video editing , using a ring LED light for illumination . Using Zoom G3x with EFTP, I've used The Shadows ,Wonderful Land Patch for this, and adjusted the bridge tone on the guitar to 5. I wired my middle tone pot, when I bought this guitar, so it also adjusts the bridge pick up, comes in handy just to take the harshness of the bridge pick up sometimes. Video Panasonic TM-900 AVCHD Dolby Stereo. Zoom pedal connected in stereo to two Line 6 Spider 15 watt amps. Sony Ext Mic connected to the camcorder. Lexato wireless system WS-50.
