In this video, I will show you how to restore a steel scabbard for the German M98/05 Butcher bayonet. Such bayonets were used by German soldiers during the First World War, although they were already quite outdated. During the restoration process, the following was carried out: cleaning the metal, soldering holes, making new leaf springs, puttying and painting to match the bluing color.
